DESCRIPTION:I hereby invite you to attend an EGM on 28th May\, 2025 at Armony Beach Club\, Calle Delfin\, El Playazo 04621 Vera Playa Almeria \nFirst call of Member registration will commence at 17.00 and second call will be at 17.30 and will finish at 18.00. \nRegistered members and sponsors have voting rights at the EGM.  Memberships can be renewed at registration and new memberships can also be completed. \nVolunteers and supporters are very welcome to attend the meeting and ask questions\, but will be unable to vote unless they are paid-up Members. \nFor Members unable to attend in person\, the PAWS-PATAS Statutes provide a mechanism for allocating your vote to be cast by proxy.  This must be done in writing by giving your full name and the name of the person you wish to vote on your behalf and signed by both (Proxy Form).  Alternatively\, you can write to secretary@paws-patas.org and nominate another member to vote on your behalf\, this must be sent from your personal email address.  For administrative convenience\, will you please do this by 18.00 on Tuesday\, 27th May\, 2025. \nAttached is the the Agenda for the EGM Agenda together with the Draft Contract for the purchase of the land Draft Contract and the Minutes from the EGM held on 26th March\, 2025 Minutes in English  and Minutes in Spanish \n  \n Babs Williams \n President

DESCRIPTION:Last year we appointed a new lawyer to support the Executive Committee and as a result\, we discovered that we had not recorded the resignation of some members of the Executive Committee from previous years and therefore the election of the 3 vocals held on 31st July\, 2024 could not be formally added to the Register of Directors held by the Junta. \nIn addition\, we have made some changes internally and therefore we have decided to hold an EGM to rectify the situation. \nAt this EGM we will also be proposing to make some changes to the Statutes\, to bring them in line with our aims and practices\, taking into account the New Animal Welfare Law\, which was published in September 2023 and to ensure that the 4 Officer roles are covered legally\, should we lose an Officer\, for whatever reason. \nAttached is the Invitation to attend the EGM Invitation\, the Agenda for the EGM Agenda\, the Minutes from the EGM held on 31st July\, 2024 EGM Minutes 31/07/2024 together with a copy of the new\, proposed Statutes Draft Statutes \nBelow in “bold” are the significant changes we are proposing to make to the Statutes:
